Some of my favorites from my wedding photography in Spain, wedding photography in Michigan, and family sessions from home and abroad. I know it's mid-March and I am doing a year re-cap blog entry. Yikes! Next year I'll do better... speaking of which, 2012 is going to be (already is) a great year and I am looking forward to all of our couples getting married in Spain, Ibiza, and in the US.

We are thrilled that Kelly and Joel's beautiful wedding on the shores of Lake Michigan is featured on Style Me Pretty today!

Getting married on the shores of Lake Michigan has to be one of the most special ways for a girl to get hitched when you're from where we are. Kelly and I have been friends since we were tweens and used to ride our horses on these same shores and drink buttershots to stay warm on epic sledding adventures on the dunes nearby. Enough about me. I loved Joel since the moment I met him and was so happy when they asked me to photograph their Michigan wedding in May. It's great to see somebody as in love with VW vans and Michigan summers as Kelly is. Kelly is also a master seamstress and florist and make some great DIY touches for the party.
