Destination Wedding in Dénia - Nadia and Brad

The Mediterranean, a horse drawn carriage, flamenco show in a castle, amazing food and wine and lots of love. It was really great to be a part of this special day and hang out with people from all over the world (Nadia and Brad live in Australia!) right here in my Spanish home town. ¡Vivan los novios!

Street Photography in Marrakesh

Morocco is so visually inspiring. The people, the architecture, the light! I have had these photos laying around in the digital wasteland somewhere from a quick trip this summer. More photos from Morocco here, here, and an essay from Fez here. We are missing our friend's traditional Moroccan wedding next weekend in his hometown due to me being very, very pregnant. These photos will have to do.... for now.

Iñaki y Patricia

Iñaki and Patricia were married outside Madrid not only once... but twice in one day. They started out with a civil ceremony with immediate family and finished off the day with a beautiful outdoor ceremony in the sierra surrounded by friends and family. Their day was full of emotion, love, and their super cute son Jon. Muchas felicidades y gracias por compartir este dia tan especial con nosostros.

Audrey and Claire - Sisters

Audrey and Claire are beautiful, thoughtful, and fun kids.. it was so great to photograph them in my home town of Grand Haven, Michigan. I loved using classic places from my youth like the Dairy Treat ice cream stand and Lake Michigan as backdrops. Long live sister love! Remember the shoot of Spanish sisters Anastasia and Carla?

Carmen and Thomas in Granada

I had never been to Granada, Spain before Carmen and Thomas' wedding. I now have a new favorite Spanish city.  Thomas and Carmen live in Germany but chose to wed in Carmen's gorgeous home town. The civil ceremony took place in the pretty gardens at Carmen de la Victoria with none other than the world famous Alhambra as a backdrop. Then guests dined under the palace and partied into the morning. Thanks to the Thomas and Carmen, the Japanese tourists, triplets, and a wandering donkey for extra great photo opportunities. Congratulations to such a beautiful couple!
